Club Monaco dress, Pour La Victoire shoes
People keep saying "orange is the new black" and maybe it's because of that women's prison show, but I definitely have to disagree. To me, black is still (and forever will be) the new black for many reasons: black is very sexy, slimming and easy to accessorize. Orange on the other hand can never be the new black. For one thing, it's very hard to make sexy, it's definitely un-slimming and you can only accessorize it with gold! That being said, I love the above orange Club Monaco dress even though it made me look a little like a human jack-o-lantern and people thought I was wearing it to be ironic--which I wasn't, but it was so unfortunately close to Halloween.
