Whenever I have doubts about whether or not I'm too old to wear something, like micro-mini skirts, I always ask if Heidi Klum would wear it. Not that I have anything in common with a German Sports Illustrated supermodel, but she's older and awesome and if she does it, then I feel like I can do it too because Heidi Klum did it. She's kind of our cougar icon. She also wears a lot of short hoochie skirts and skimpy clothes, so most of the time the answer is yes. In fact, the only times the answer is no is when something is perfectly conservative. Like "would Heidi Klum wear this very functional and practical white V-neck sweater" She probably would, but only because she wanted to be boring. But mini-skirts were a no-brainer. Now that I've passed the Heidi test, I should have asked her how I can sit down in one of these micro-mini skirts without announcing my crotch to the world.

I've been married for almost three years now, but my when I was asked if I would be up for wearing some beautiful dresses, holding beautiful flowers and taking some beautiful photos...I said yes, a thousand times yes! Also, how can anyone say no to this Ted Baker dress.

Wish Social Events along with Clane Gessel Photography set up an amazing shoot. Wardrobe and florals were provided by Wish Social Events, which is helmed by founder/designer Heather Cassady. Thank you for letting me be a model and a fake bride for a day!

My week in Hawaii was amazing. The sun, the sand, the fresh seafood. They don't call it paradise for nothing. But, if there is one thing that I absolutely love about Hawaii, it is that a person can basically wear anything they want and nobody will care. Like, anybody can just have their ass hanging out of a tiny skirt and it's totally cool. Hey, why not pair that ass-baring skirt with a see-through lace top? Ok, I will! I basically wore this outfit everywhere because it's SO cute and also because I could go into town eating my fresh uni and shaved ice topped with salty prune powder(!) in the tiniest outfit possible. I was however, proven wrong yesterday when a girl showed up eating her shaved ice in a purple string bikini. She didn't even bother putting on something for the bottoms. Nope, she just wore her bikini bottoms out to lunch and was just sitting down in all sorts of places in them. Just one more reason you gotta love Hawaii.
