First birthday parties can be so tiring and so boring. I mean what 36 year old wants to watch a tiny baby ruin a perfectly good cake and then throw a huge tantrum because she can't nap in her luxurious mobile stroller bed? But I discovered how to make baby birthday parties WAY more fun. My tip: wear whatever the baby is wearing! For example, my baby's party was a Princess Party so I wore my own ridiculous giant tulle Princess Dress and immediately drank three champagnes. Major success for me and the baby. I'm ready for next year! Onesie party? Superhero party? Hopefully I can convince her to do a ballerina birthday party, I have a great Black Swan tutu that needs to be worn somewhere. #WhyNotAtABabysBirthdayParty

My Sassoon Stylist Soulmate

Having the perfect bob and maintaining the perfect bob is a pretty difficult feat that most people don't understand. Everyone is always assuming "you probably just wake up and go!" Actually no, I wake up, wash my hair, blow dry it, straighten it, and then wax down my bangs so that it looks like a forehead wall because the wind is my enemy. Finding the right stylist is even more trying. "I can't go that high in the back" "I can't go that tight in the back." "The cowlick prevents you from shaving the back so high and tight." I've heard it all and have endured numerous bad bobs to finally meet my Sassoon Stylist Soulmate Michael Forrey.  He's incredible. Ever since we met four months ago, it has been a whirlwind of monthly kikis where we dish, we laugh and he seamlessly and masterfully snips and snaps my fringe and A-line. Thank you Sassoon Salon for introducing me to my hairstylist soulmate. Husbands may come and go, but my bob haircut is forever...and so is my stylist. #myforeverhair
