I recently went to visit the Sassoon Salon in downtown SF and it was amazing. I generally have an inner turmoil every 2.5 months when I need to get a haircut because despite being incredibly specific, I usually end up getting hair-shamed by my stylist and end up with a perfectly adorable and A-line bob. But, what I want is to have my hair totally shaved up in the back like I did in college when my boyfriend used to shave it in the back of his garage. Apparently, according to my ex-stylist there's this cowlick that prevented me from going too short in the back. So apparently it's also the back of my head that prevents me from getting the perfect haircut. Well, not so at Sassoon Salon who matched me up with hairstylist Michael and gave me the most perfect A-line clipped bob of my life. I warned him about the cowlick, and it didn't even phase him. I highly recommend Sassoon and especially Michael. Instead of excuses, and "no's" it was always "yes" and "of course we can". So now, "of course we will" be forever going to Michael.  Thanks you Sassoon Salons!

Fewer Better Gifts

The only hat that you will ever need your whole life is this one made by Cuyana. Cuyana's mantra is all about having fewer things, but better things instead of having a closetful of crappy things. I'm on board. Only problem is, now I want more and more better things from Cuyana. I'm not sure I completely understand "fewer, better things" just yet. #givememore

My Thanksgiving Traditional Meal

Every year I look forward to the day AFTER Thanksgiving for the most amazing feast that has ever touched the tongue. No, it's not the sandwich made from the leftover turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, one slice of cheddar cheese and gravy, which admittedly is also incredibly delicious. No, this meal requires not one but two turkeys; one for the bones and one for the meat. Yes, it is Turkey Pho. Merging Vietnamese and American traditions, Thanksgiving Turkey Pho may be more American than traditional American Turkey dinner. I mean aren't we all supposed to be about melting pots and combining traditions? Well, to me, nothing says America more than a huge pot of turkey bones and turkey broth, turkey tripe with Thai basil, and Sriracha. Yum. Next up, Day After Christmas Prime Rib banh mi with eye cringing pickled veggies, 25 cent Vietnamese buns, and paté. A
