The world as I know it has finally changed. This is because I have accepted UGG’s into my daily life and my daily ensembles. And not even those really snazzy UGG’s that are gold with the cute buttons. Just the normal ones! I have to tell you, living a life with warm feet is pretty awesome, especially in the winter. I used to ridicule everyone that walked by in ugly comfortable clothes. Now, I will still continue to ridicule these people, but I will try not to enjoy it so much, because those people just want warm feet! One of my friends who is still resistant to UGGs asked me if there were boots that were cute and also comfy. And I will tell all of you what I told her, “no, there are not.” Sorry kiddies, those “cute” boots don’t exist. Like Santa Claus, unicorns, or that really hot waiter that you’re dating who swears he’s going to make something of himself, cute comfy boots are an urban legend. There can NEVER ever be anything that is cute and also comfy. So, go get those UGGs for the winter, your feet will thank you. And don’t even bother trying to be cute by buying those snazzy looking UGGs, cause those are still UGG. You might as well strap on a Snuggie while you’re at it. (P.S., no. you do NOT look like that hot girl in the pic who’s wearing UGGs)

BCBG Shoes…I Think

What ARE these? I mean, I think they’re shoes, but they can also be BCBG’s weirdest mistake. First of all, are those boots or is that a funky cow hoof? If they are in fact boots, then the person wearing them has a huge surprise because they’re feet are now going to look like funky cow hoofs. And are those pumps supposed to have that weird piece of cement stuck to it? It’s hard to believe that BCBG, the same designer that designs Herve Leger and bandage dresses brought us…this. It’s kinda sad, because he probably thought that Posh Spice would be all up on these cause she’s alien weird too. But, instead, they just look like they’re trying too hard. I’m sure you’ll see these at Ross in about a month; the place where clothes go to die.

There is no way, no possible way that I will ever be that girl that does the “buy it for cheaper” column. Well not as long as Gucci shoes and Louis Vuitton purses exist in this world. I don’t even understand how a person can have this column. Buy it Cheaper? Where? At the “Gucci and Louis Vuitton Stolen Merchandise Store?” That place is an urban legend!!! I can see girls everywhere mouthing the words “snobby bitch” right now, but that is because you misunderstand. I am not saying that all amazing things must be Gucci. I know that there’s tons of really cool cheap stuff out there that does not also force you to go hungry for buying them. However, cheap stuff NEVER looks like this. I would like to see someone attempt to show me cheaper versions of these amazing Gucci Drew heels. And good luck finding a cheap version of this Louis Vuitton Vernis Leather Amarante Alma bag. That’s right, the bag is so nice that you can’t even say the full name.

Oxfords: Not Just For Harvard Boys Anymore

Oxfords are making a fierce come-back. And by comeback I mean from like, the 1920′s when women thought it was revolutionary to wear pants. Now, Harvard boys no longer have the monopoly to wear oxfords with their argyle socks and navy blazers. Girls can wear oxfords with argyle socks and navy blazers too! Of course, ironically, girls look way better in oxfords than boys, who basically look like pretentious assholes when they wear oxfords casually. It’s hard to believe that men’s shoes can be cute. So gaze on Olivia Palermo’s ensemble. Despite being completely talentless and evil, her silver oxfords are adorable. Of course, I don’t know of any other outfit where oxfords would be cute, so just stick to this outfit–and only this outfit.

I recenty got these black Miss Sixty gladiator shoes in the middle and I am totally obsessed with them. They make me feel all Joan Jett cool but without the mullet. There are however, two minor problems with these shoes. The first problem is, the only thing that I look cool wearing them with are leggings. The second minor problem is that they make my feet bleed like a hemophiliac. Why, dear God, why do cute shoes ALWAYS have to hurt? It’s just another curse that cute girls have to deal with. So now, after wearing the these shoes for just one night, I have two scars on my Achilles heel. But, while my boyfriend was carrying me and my bloodied feet home that night, I knew that I loved them. So, I am going to wipe the blood off of these puppies and take the pain for being vain, because before I know it, I’m going to be 57 in an Easy Spirit buying shoes for…comfort. Eeks. (I have also included pictures of other similarly cute shoes that will cause scarring and blistering when worn–but that are also totally awesome.)

I’m Not Sure if it’s Cute, But I Still Like It Buy of the Week

These are crab sandals and I’m not sure why but I am drawn to them. I know they’re not cute. I want to say that they’re fun and whimsical, but lets be real, they’re roach. But somehow, they’re roach in a totally put together way. I mean, there’s a huge red crab on them for god sakes! They could be way worse, yet they look like they fit perfectly in any Kate Spade or Tory Burch collection. And I’m sure that this item will be the “cool and sassy” thing that the Kate Spade or Tory Burch wearing chick would get. My only beef with them is why a crab? I mean sure, maybe it makes sense because you might go to the beach and a crab might latch on to your shoes? Because you went into the water in your $300.00 leather sandals? That would be weird, like these crab sandals.
